Holiday home society (Regd) is a non-profit making, voluntary, welfare organization with its head office at Indra Holiday Home, sector 24B Chandigarh and branch office at Anand Bhawan ( a place donated by late Maharaja Yadvindra Singh) Sadhupul, on Kandaghat- Chail Road, Himachal Pradesh, mainly for holding campus for school children. The society has been holding such campus since 1954.
The complex at Chandigarh has an area of 6.5 acres appox. With lush green lawns and aromatic flowers with sufficient fields for play and recreation. It has dormitories, ordinary rooms, and special rooms with a capacity of 100 person at a time. In addition it has an auditorium and dining hall with capacity of 200 persons. This complex is very ideally situated for holding camps, seminars, workshop, get together and receptions.
The other complex at Anand Bhawan Sadhupul Kandaghat Chail Road, Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station at a height of 4000 ft, which is 11 kms from Kandaghat. This complex also provides similar facilities which can accommodate about 100 students (both boys & girls) accompanied by their escort teachers. It is also very ideal for conducting training camps, orientation courses besides being a picnic spot. This place is very suitable to trekkers and hikers for Shimla, Kufri and Chail with base camp at Anand Bhawan. The groups of students and other groups arranged by the Travelling Agencies or Tourism Department of any state are most welcome at our both Indira Holiday Homes.
